About Me
I made my first quilt on grandma's treadle sewing machine with I was 15 and I have remained fascinated with the art of sewing ever since. Except for some long breaks for school, family, and career I managed to squeak out a little time for sewing classes. Now after devoting myself to my accounting career and spending the last 30 years working in offices I want to pursue a full time career in the arts and do what I love. In addition to quilting I also make purses and totes, decorate pillows, and do machine embroidery. My husband has also taken an interest in crafts and is making soy candles, hand made soaps, wax dipped bears, and some wood working. I just lit my first soy candle by American Made Gift Store. In the absence of a real Christmas tree to decorate the shop, I am thrilled to have this candle spread the warmth and wonderful smells of Christmas throughout the store. Thank you Andrea and Darrell for such a nice gift. I can't wait to try your pumpkin-cinamon essential oil soap tonight! Please pass by soon as I would like to purchase 3 more candles for gifts.
